1. Agreement
These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Bonded", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Bonded.
2. Who can use Bonded
You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE, e.g. 18] years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must give accurate information, keep your login details secure, and not let anyone else use your account. One person, one account.
3. What Bonded is
Bonded helps people find others with shared interests, join circles, and attend or host events. We are a platform, not an organiser. Events listed on Bonded are created and run by users, and we are not a party to arrangements between them.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Impersonate anyone, or create an account under a false identity
- Harass, threaten, bully, or discriminate against other users
- Post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or violent
- Post content you do not have the right to share
- Use Bonded for spam, scams, or commercial solicitation we have not approved
- Collect other users' data, or attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
- Arrange anything illegal through the platform
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute it, solely to operate and promote the service. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared with other users and backups kept for a limited period.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
6. Safety when meeting people
We do not perform criminal background checks on users. Verification badges confirm identity documents for hosts, not that a person is safe.
You are responsible for your own safety. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, telling someone where you are going, and leaving any situation that feels wrong. You interact with other users, online and in person, at your own risk.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions
Paid tiers are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not in Bonded — we cannot cancel them for you.
Refunds
Purchases made through the app stores are subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies, and refund requests go to them. For payments taken directly, our policy is [YOUR REFUND POLICY]. Nothing here affects statutory rights you have under consumer law.
Event bookings
When you book a paid event, payment is taken at booking and held until the event has taken place. Cancellation and refund terms are set by the host and shown before you book. We charge a service fee, disclosed at checkout.
8. Hosting events
If you host paid events, you additionally agree that:
- You will complete identity verification through Stripe before receiving any payout.
- You will describe your events accurately and deliver what you advertise.
- You hold any licences, permits, or insurance your event requires.
- You are responsible for your own tax obligations on what you earn.
- Payouts are released on our published schedule after the event, less our service fee, and may be delayed or withheld where there is a dispute, a chargeback, or suspected fraud.
9. The AI assistant
Bonded includes an AI assistant. Its answers may be wrong or incomplete, and are not professional advice of any kind. Check anything important before you act on it.
10. Third-party experiences
Some travel and experience listings are supplied by third-party partners. Those bookings are governed by the provider's own terms, and we are not responsible for what they deliver.
11. Availability
We aim to keep Bonded running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content licences already granted, liability, and dispute resolution — continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers and liability
Bonded is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. We are not liable for the conduct of other users, whether online or in person.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the [e.g. 12 months] before the claim, or [AMOUNT]. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes will be handled by the courts of [JURISDICTION]. Consumers may have the right to bring proceedings in their own country.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Bonded afterwards means you accept the change.
